Hello gentlemen!
Has somebody here maybe an idea where I could find this book for an honest price? (not on ebay France...). :o
Thanks
Philippe

That is a tough one. They come up from time to time. I took a quick look on abebooks with no success. I actually deal with a German bookseller when I am looking for books. This guy is really good and speaks perfect English. His name is Timo Braun. I highly recommend him especially for finding old books. You might want to give him a try.

You will find it over time, but will cost you $100 or more, had to go to Ebay France to get mine years ago.

Good book!

Thank you joe and James!
I would immediatly buy this book for $100,-!!! The last I saw on ebay France in December, got a new home for more than 200.- EUR....
I´ll often have a look on the website of Herr Braun. Maybe I´ll have THE luck!
It´s actually also a bad time to buy on ebay, because of X-Mas. So many people got money and are ready to give more for what they want. I think I must wait a few weeks/months.
Regards from Germany

Hello Philippe,

A friend of mine is willing to sell this book, stopped collecting many years ago. Very good overall condition, but without the dust jacket. Please contact me if you are interested for more details. Not a dealer, price is far more modest than you think...

I was in a crazy mood when I decided to translate my J-L Larcade part II.... 8)

1.French to Dutch

2.Dutch to English...

No weird online translation !

Now I have to get started with correcting.
:-P

I'm still looking for Part I... so I can get started with the translation then.

Bought both my vol 1 & 2 direct from the publisher in France years ago. The publishing company had placed and ad in a militaria magazine. I got the head of our French Dept to phone Paris and order it using my master card! Those days unfortunately are long gone

180 € for volume one...

My wife was not amused...

She promised me to chain me up in the garden for at least one hour a week :-?

The remaining time I can translate this book.

Rgds,

Khukri

I just scored a Vol 1 on ebay last week.... cost me $230 but in my opinion worth it. There is a extensive chapter on reserve helmets which i found very useful and a subject commonly overlooked in most books.
