Does anybody have a friend whom collects US fighting knives and or US helmets ?. I've got a good friend retired US Army whom inherited some neat things from his late older brother ( whom was also retired US Army 1946 -1977 ).
One is a rather nice Pathfinder logo painted on M1 steel helmet and th eliner is marked 11TH Airborne. The other item is a Western brand bowie knife with the SF shield/crest lightly etched on it. I've posted pics and asked around a bit but nobody seems to be able to add much to either item....but so far I have not been connected with a diehard collector of either .
