Silver finish on Bavarian Pickelhaube. Help!

I have some parts from a Bavarian pickelhaube that some nice person has just about removed all the silver finish by over polishing I would guess. The base metal is brass. I would like to restore the German silver finish. Does anyone know who can do this and do a quality job?

I know somebody who does it but he lives in France. He does take international orders though. Helmet restoration is his business. He has done great jobs for me as of erasing dings from the surface of GdK helmets or replacing missing scales on chinscales. I have always refused to re-gild a plate. If the matt finish is gone I do not buy, but I know it can be done. Let me know if you want his address.
