Small M 15 line pickel with a question

Out of the woodwork came this M 15.
With some issues....but "untouched" in a certain way...
To me it was never used. Only stamped with a date and the size in the dome. (1917 and 58 1/2).
No removable spike, silver paint on the wappen, 91 slots of the chinstrap, the back reinforcement and the front reinforcement.
But how about the chinstrap?
I vote it is ok, but I would like to hear your opinions.
It is made of 3 layers and also a 1895 mod, as the spike is.

Personally, I’d like to see the strap taken off and photos of how it is stitched. Three layers? A mod 1895? What do you mean by these statements?

Thanks for your response.
I was not in favour to take it of, as it was sitting quiet straight, and hard to pass the wappen.
But, you are right it helps. For what I notice it convinced me even more to be a original one.
I am talking about the ends of the leather strap, that are behind the loops, who are shaped in a flat end. It is quiet hard to get it in a picture...

By "three layers"; I ment that the leather strap is build up in 3 layers of leather straps one on top each other (and probably glued in a way). You can clearly see the lines from the top.
And by "mod 95"; I ment the hardware on the chinstrap are not M15(helmets , related!), but a earlyer model. I tought called "M91"(for the harware slots!) on the M15 helmets and "M95" on earlyer helmets.....or did I get that wrong?
