The seller states, "This helmet has the smaller pattern Baden badge which we’re told was only worn by Badisches Train-Bataillon Nr.14 (Durlach) XIV Armee Korps from 1864 to 1903."
Wouldn't the "smaller" plate refer to the one worn on a Tschako, rather than a Pickelhaube? :-k
