This seller, or whoever did the 'restoration' would have been better off leaving this in original condition, rather than 'cleaning it up'.

All in all a fairly truthful description, but it would've been better off without being painted and re-lined.

Should we add this different type of removable spike to our records? :P

Must have been very difficult to keep that unsecured spike balanced on the top of your helmet while marching... :wink:
