Offered for sale is a very nice enlisted pattern field cover for Prussian Regiment #174 with the green felt numbers.
The cover is manufacturer marked on the inside, along with a 1914 date, and a size 58 marking.
All of the brass hooks are present.

This offering is for the cover only. There is No pickelhaube.
Price: $700 or "Best Offer" plus Postage
Payment via PayPal is ok. I prefer "friends and family".
USA Postage: $10.40 via Priority U.S. Mail with Tracking.
I can ship this to Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore. I will need to absolutely check with the post office with package in hand, in order to get an accurate postage cost for this item. U.S. Postage rates have recently gone up once again, and I was shocked when I took an item to the post office to mail it outside of the United States after I had already been paid. I had made what I thought was a good estimate based on past experience for postage cost which ended up being way too low to mail the 11 oz package to Europe.
Best Wishes,
Alan

Gun show find last summer: nice field cover with helmet
Hello, I went to visit a friend and see his collection last summer, and we went to a gun show during dealer set up where I found this helmet with a numbered Prussian 174th Regiment cover with it. I can't say that they came together originally, but that is the way the dealer had them for sale...
