Offered for sale is a very nice condition Black Felt Ersatz Prussian Artillery Helmet.

The black felt is in excellent condition. Black finished pigskin leather liner is intact, with stitching firmly intact. Leather is supple.

One domed split brad is missing from the spike base.

Manufacturer's label with size is intact inside of the back area of helmet. "Berthold Lissner Guben, 57 ctm., 1914" marked paper label.

Original kokardes.

I believe the chinstrap is original. The backside of the leather strap is smooth, and not rough.
