Offered for sale is a nice, complete Model 1915 Prussian Guard Infantry Pickelhaube.
Chintrap and Kokardes are Original.
Helmet has an extra plugged and patched set of holes behind the front plate, as seen in my photos. The Guard Wappen has deep lines pressed into the black lacqured finish of the outer helmet body, as seen in my photos. I have seen a handful of these M15 Prussian Guard Helmets over the years that have a patched set of extra holes behind the front plate.
Size is a "55", or possibly a "56". I believe it's a "55". There's a maker mark visible in the back inside of the helmet body, but I cannot make out who the manufacturer is.
There is a scratch area on the back right area of the helmet which scraped the black finish, as seen in my photos.
Liner is in perfect condition, with No torn tongues, and the tie cord is still intact.
This helmet will make for a nice addition for any collection, and displays nicely!
