Near Mint Helmet
Prussia Obere Beamte Officer Model 1897 with black parade plume. Black lacquered fibre (Depahag Patent) helmet body in perfect shape and in near mint condition with Fire Gilt trim . Officers pattern square trim and cross spike base. The Frontplate is the Prussian Line eagle with banner and no small "Beamte" eagle on the tail. This indicates senior administration official. Fine "Fire Gilt" front plate.
Crossed spike base with star retainers. Tall officer trichter with black buffalo hair plume. No extra holes in helmet body. Rounded gold chinscales retained by rosettes over a set of officer style Prussian and Reich colored Cockades. The Inside of the helmet is full officers with the Calf skin lining and silk liner in excellent condition virtually "unworn" condition. The sweat leather is embossed with the symbol of the Depahag Patent Brand. Beautiful and absolutely perfect conditioned helmet.
