Quite a scarce beast of a helmet to say the least, my primary interest is Pickelhaubes so this helmet is now surplus.

This is a great looking camo but should the swas be painted over the camo.
This suggest the swas was painted on then the camo separation lines were painted over it.

Look closer it is a trick of the light pic 4 clearly shows swas is painted OVER the black line NOT UNDER, the earlier paint is also much thicker etc
