1. German WW1 Imperial marine parade jacket of Gefreiten "Stender". The jacket is marked for the marine cloting depot in Wilhelmshaven and dated 1913.
2. German WW1 Drillich EM tunic (Drillichjacke) .
3. German Jager zu Pferde Koller. This Koller belonged to a trooper of the 3rd Jäger-zu-Pferde Regiment41. The 3rd Jäger-zu-Pferde Regiment was raised on October 1st, 1905 and had its garrison in Colmar (western Germany, Elsass region). While the 2nd squadron was used to protect the German border during the outbreak of the war, other squadrons were providing reconnaissance services in the areas of Mullhouse, Lothringen and St. Quentin. During November 1914, the regiment went to Arras and Ypres in Belgium. In December 1914, the regiment was re-allocated to the eastern front where it was engaged in fighting near Düna, until late 1916. It then moved to Poland where it was stationed until February 1919, well after the end of the War. Uniforms of this type are seldom encountered.
4. A Jäger-zu-Pferde (mounted rifles) officer Waffenrock of the 10th regiment, as worn in the early years of the Great War. Note the awesome 3.6cm officer Tresse, in dark green silk and with four raised ribs running through it. Regimental facing color was displayed in two thin stripes on the outer edges of this lace. The normal brass buttons for this regiment are the dull matt grey finish that were to be worn beginning in March of 1915.
Plus , a great looking matching officer cap for Jäger-zu-Pferde. Sold without equipment shown on the photo. The liner of the tunic has two holes. Some fraying at the officers tress

Looking at the dark-blue uniform ensemble worn by the Kaiserlich Deutsche Feldpost (Imperial German Postal Service), it's easy to understand why they were mistaken for French soldiers and fired upon by their own troops! This tunic represents a Feldpostsekretär Model 1907 tunic, which consists of a dark-blue Waffenrock with orange piping, Swedish cuffs and Tombak button. The matching blue visored hat has an orange and blue band. The shoulder straps feature an imperial crown and eagle, typically used by the Feldpost. The regulation collar pips are unfortunately missing from this surviving tunic.
The cap comes in a carbon period tailors box. This Feldpost cap is marked with the manufacturer label and size: "Deutsche Mode", "Größe 57". The original box to store the cap is marked "Mützen-Lager Carl Brömel´s Nachfl. Hildburghausen".
The last item are field-grey trousers with orange piping for the military Feldpost soldiers. A mixture of colored and field-grey garments were often worn together.
