Something French and something very expensive

I recently bought this French M72/74 cuirassier helmet from our fellow member Sander. I have about a dozen French adrian helmets but none of these older (cavalry) types. Liner is a bit dry but present. I found it a very attractive helmet straight away so I'm glad I have it on my shelf.

And here for scale my most expensive "purchase" ever. My son Otto, born 2 weeks ago. His little hand looks a bit odd in the picture but all's fine.

The helmet is pretty cool you rarely see them with the mane unbraided.
