SOS 2014

We are getting closer! Now just to get a few things together. I have so much to sell this year. Dog not for sale. I think some of the reference books will go. As well as anything I can get Janet to let me sell from the display case. Got to make room for more stuff. Who knows what we will bring back from our trip to Belgium this year? So much to buy so little time.

Not sure where you are going to put your stuff, my tables are going to be full :D

However, a Nice Bavarian Kuirass could get you some space...... :-"

James

I think there will be more room if we just push the mannequin on the floor. Of course that would defeat its purpose. But it might keep Gus busy for a while. Randy said he was bringing a whole bunch I don't know how he will fit that on one table. At least we don't have Karsten elbowing us out.

Did you solve your space issue? We might be able to help but I don't want to speak for the group. We could always put Gus in the aisle with a sandwich board on. That would help the advertising.

For any newbies we regularly have water and sandwich fixings for lunch and snacks – free to members! We even have a bottle of hand sanitizer which comes in handy if you ever have to go to the bathroom. Actually if you go to the bathroom you might want to take a shower in the hand sanitizer. Just saying.... :???:

Yes Peter agreed, this winter has been a brutal one. Its snowing again as I write this...another 4cm coming today. I bought my first ever set of snow tires at Xmas and I am very glad that I did. We escaped the huge ice storm that crippled Toronto over Christmas but still lots of snow on the ground, about half a metre. Five ski dooers killed so far this season in Ontario, a tribute to human stupidity and waste of life.

Brian is saying words and they are familiar to me, but 4cm and metre... what is wrong with inches and feet! :D

You know haw those Canadian are, they accuse us of illegally breaking away from England, but we are the only ones still maintaining the English way of measuring, I will defend to the end the use of acres over Hectares, pecks and bushels over...wait, do they even have baskets in the metric system?

Okay boys and girls I made reservations at the German restaurant for Thursday night the 27th at 6 PM. Reservations for eight. James, Gus, Joe, and yes Brian and Caren also… Not Wednesday this year and I am not herding cats.

Peter- when did you get table # info? I got a letter months ago telling me I got my tables, but have not received the packet yet with table numbers, packet pick up info etc.?

Just curious if you just got it, or if I am missing mine?

Best

James

OK....for my American friends, as I am old I know both. We got 8 inches this weekend and there is 3 ft on the ground......one yard! The banks on my street have been pushed up by the plow to a height of 4 1/2 ft. There are piles of snow on parking lots reaching 20 ft. People are running out of places to put the damn stuff. One guy was fined $150 by the city of Orillia because his snow pile had collapsed and blocked the side walk! Orillia is 30 miles north of us and has got even worse snow than we do. All for now......I have to go shovel out the rest of my drive way which is approx 45 ft long by 25 wide. The SOS gets closer!!! Thanks for making the reservations Joe.
PS....Our "F... ing" ground hogs saw their shadows yesterday so we are in for another 6 weeks of this.

I was under the impression that the table locations are staying the same.

I think most of them are the same. Last year I really didn't get out much except for to take the dog out. This year more visiting.

Brian stop your whining. Canada is known as the great White North for a reason. You live there – voluntarily. There is a reason we moved south. I got sick of shoveling and spreading ice.

I thought that the groundhog was from Pennsylvania – not everything was invented in Canada! :D :D :D

Got the packet today, it says we will get our table numbers at check in? I am assuming we will be H1,H2 and H3 again

Well I jumped the gun and bought a helmet that will be delivered at the show. As a result this one will go on the block – not sure what I will ask for a price yet. Got to stop spending all my money before I get there.

I hear you Joe! Me too! :-" 8-[

I've been like a boy in a candy shop since September, with the $$$ burning a hole in my pocket every week. Seems that I keep finding too much stuff that I can't resist. It's been an amazing past 6-months for me. :)

All the Best,

Alan
