SOS 2026

I just returned from the 100-table Leavenworth, Kansas show, and did very well there once again. I actually met several customers that were at the SOS last week, and sold several things to them. The nice one-day show was busy all morning, with people coming in steady. My sale table was right next to the admission table.

Just a call, now that the stock exchanges are over, maybe offer the Pichelhoubes for sale here, there are always people who want something, it's just a call

I didn't set up this year, but I've never really cared about attendance. SOS can be crowded on Saturday for many years, but that is just a crowd that touches everything and buys nothing. I judge the show by what I found... I am happy.

Just curious as the weather was really bad and was wondering what the impact was on attendance.

Congratulations on retirement! I've got about 1 year to go
Congratulations as well.

I am on my second career after the Army and keep setting decision points. Next one is 65 years old in just over a year. My motto is I will keep working until I am no longer having fun!

I am lucky though in that even when I retire from full time I can do the ocassional work as a contractor supporting military training exercises as a part timer. Sort of like Terrortorial or National Guard or the Militia (what call our Army Reserves in Canada) for contractors.

Enjoy your freedom to do what you want when you want!

Hopefully you have also been told that I owned this piece for 40+ years and that it is shown on the forum "header". Enjoy!

I was! That’s a big reason I bought it! It’s a great piece of internet history! 😂 Anytime anyone mashes the home page button at the top of the page, they don’t have to wonder what ever happened to Brian’s old busby? It’s in good hands for the time being until another forum member takes over. It can be the unofficial mascot! 😂
