SOS Prussian Shako Liner

A unique M15 OR Prussian shako liner. We have discussed officer calf skin sweat bands with perforations BUT I have never seen holes on any OR's liner either pre war or M15. The shako had 2 extra holes in the front which were filled with black flat head split brads. I have seen these used on helmets before, they are original. I stupidly did not take a foto of the actual shako itself. My apologies....I got caught up in the liner and forgot.



Unique markings on the rear visor as well...H.S.P ???

Just a guess, but I'd say Police.

That looks like a post WWII liner to me!

Police sounds good, as I said, 2 extra holes in the front of the helmet filled in with black painted flat split brads. You can see one in the pic.
