Stamp on a mod 1915 spiked helmet???

Any idea about this stamp on the visor and on the shell of a mod 15 pickelhaube?

are they burned in? My guess would be initials of the wearer,

That's what I thought at first but then why would he have his initials on both the shell and the visor?

I guess when you start with stamping your name you can't stop.

Anyway I'm guessing. I got a sword with the initials AM engraved and also AM stamped on another part.
