Yesterday I looked at the results of 20 of the lots offered
11 of the 20 were "Passed " meaning they got no bids
I know that one must be careful when bidding here
I noted that a very rusty J z P enlisted helmet condition III sold for 2,000 Euro
before commission
Lot 1316 titled Sax-Duchies General sold for only 3,600 Euro
hard to believe that IF it is 100 % correct the owner would sell it for that amount
I did bid on 1 pair of shoulder straps and 1 pair of epaulettes
I am happy to say that I won them both
I will say one thing for Stauffer
When I got to the computer this A M
I had an email from Stauffer with my auction bill attached

Some correct streamers for regiment flags and a battle damaged 1870 Iron Cross
pole top did sell well.

Lot 1316 titled Sax-Duchies General

Here you need an eagle eye and many more detailed photos from all corners. I would also be extremely careful here.

Matthias
