This is a very bad fake; sorry Nick.
I hope you can still get your money back?
Who's the seller by the way?

Hi all.I am sure that the seller does not know that this helmet is fake and sell it as original. He is a serius seller with more than 100 auctions every day on ebay.I think that I will have not any problem to return back the helmet.Thank you very much all for your help.Best regards from Greece.Nick

Nick,

Welcome to the forum! You won't find any threads here dealing with identifying fakes, because if the counterfeiters know their mistakes, they may fix them! Anyway, this one looks to be from India, as many are. Take a look at some real Kuerassier helmets on Joe's 'Colonel J's' site or Tony's 'Kaiser's Bunker', you'll begin to see the differences. Don't by any means be discouraged, keep looking for good helmets on ebay and at local shows. If the dealer you got this from thinks it was an original, rather than a very bad replica, then I wouldn't go there any more IMHO... he doesn't know his stuff.

Thanks for posting the photos, so you could be informed on your purchase. I too hope you get your money back and can stick around.

:D Ron

Welcome to the forum and don't let this one discourage you because many of us here have similar stories to tell with fake helmets or parts. Its always a good thing to seek advice here before you are thinking of buying a helmet because this will save you a lot of frustration.

Regards,

Edwin
