The Kaiser presented the Schellenbaum to the Krieger Bund .in 1903?? as was engraved on it.... It was a hand full Alte Helm Zimmer ------ Randolpho
 
who are the other 2 in the photo ? The one on the left looks
a little like the Baron von R.

Yes. -----those are armed guards to protect the Schellenbaum (Jingling Johnny ) from me.. (and others in 1973 -today who knows ) ---as it is/was very valuable.. The Kaisercan't present any more of them !!!!!! Prost Randolpho
 
I posted an answer yesterday which never got here or??? The where a bouts of the schellembaum was never discussed. the Steuben Parade is held every Sept. near the 19th in NYC , on a weekend. Look- if you can _ i'll try also .. The tv coverage of the Krieger Bund was always brief. prost - R
