Fahnentrager Ringkragen for the King's Infantry Regt. 145
formed 1890 Garrison Metz XVI A K
There were 4 Batls. to this regiment
so there would be only 4 of these ringkragen at one given time
The Ringkragen carries the same cypher as the shoulder straps
and epaulettes of the regiment ; W R II
There was only one other Ringkragen like this
It was for the King's Jager zu Pferde Regt. 1
It was in nickel silver
and since the cavalry had only one flag per regiment ( except for 1 L. Kurassiere Regt . 1 which had 2 )
there would only be 1 Ringkragen for that unit
