Could anyone tell me what kind of uniforms they wear?
For me it looks like a summer tunics?
but I'm not sure :help:

I have never seen drillich uniforms with attached shoulder straps and with pockets on the chest (front) as well.

I have seen a couple, they are a green grey denim with pockets, but neither had shouldere straps, as those in the photo apear to be the standard shoulder strap sewn to the jacket, I might be wrong, but I think I am right. I also like waffles:) no I don't I prefer pancakes

I think the chaps in my PC are wearing the "drillich", aren't they?

[the reason why it seems I'm bragging about this PC in particular has nothing to do with the fact I got it for less than $3.00 before shipping 8-) ]

Hey Ron,
Yes, that is the standard white drill uniform. I am going to have to break down and buy the jacket (if it is still available) that is the green grey material, so I can do a bit more study on it.

I'd agree, also note the stand and fall collar. Don't most Drillichrocks have a small standing collar? But the the buttons look like horn buttons as worn on the Drillichrock... a curious variation on the Drillichrock I guess?

Cheers
Chris

It is also interesting that the fellow on the right has a rank button on his collar. Drillich tunic with rank button on the collar is it possible? :?:

I agree that the buttons looks like from drillich tunic.

Maybe this can help...
First is a drillich for EM and the second one is an officers summer tunic...
Both are made of cotton...

I don't do uniforms but geez–is there something you do not have?

And high quality also!

Look at that flashlight cover. Is that dated somewhere?

Joe,

It's a picture I took some years ago, but meanwhile a collector told me this flashlight is a model after WW1... I'm still checking this out because there is no date on it...

I love what seems to be your attic... I wonder what's in all these drawers. Even your mannequin looks like an original German soldier mummy :D
I would've loved to discover something similar in my dad's attic for example but all that was there were dead cockroaches and a couple of old Scotch Whisky bottles (I'm more of a larger & white beer fan myself--la St-Ambroise par-exemple)...
Thanks for sharing!
