How about this absolutely ultra-rare beauty that was on eBay.de a few days ago?
I heard it belonged to Field Marshal Bubba himself.

This picture doesn’t do it justice — both cockades are for a Württemberg helmet, and the rear spine is also messed up.

It even comes with a case for convenience.

The one with the 'parade bush', looks like it may have been a theater prop made from an otherwise nice original.

I agree, possibly with a Saxon plate and kokarden, and a regular spike it would be fine.

This is where it gets interesting — I believe it may actually have been a Hessian helmet at some point. The reason is that the Wappen ghosting doesn’t line up, and the helmet perhaps originally had a cruciform base.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

The stickelhaube reminds me of the fire helmets we used to see with spikes soldered on the comb. I hope those didn’t have an actual use. The cockade on the helmet is nice.
