Superb 5. Westfälisches Infanterie-Regt. Nr.53 (Cöln) VII Armee Korps Eigetumsstück (private purchased) M1896 Waffenrock for a Einjährig-Freiwilliger (One year volunteer).
This Waffenrock has it all: superb condition, NCO lace, white piping on the cuffs, cyphered straps from a desirable Regiment, and as desirable one-Year-Volunteer piping.
Description:
The Waffenrock is an high quality Dunkelblau doe-skin wool with black silk lining. Cuffs are correctly piped in white. Gilt NCOs lace is sewn around the collar and cuffs for the rank of Unteroffizier. The cyphers on the privately-purchased shoulders straps are a hand-sewn crown cut from fine felt and separately sewn on with hand-embroidered details. The straps are surrounded by very nice, fat, one-year volunteer piping.
Condition:
There are a few very small scattered areas of light surface tracking in a few spots but nothing significant. I counted five small pin holes. Overall the Wafffenrock is in Ex condition.
I am selling this for the $500 USD that I paid many years ago. I would prefer a money order but will accept Paypal if you pay the fees. Postage will be around $35 to the US or Canada but I will supply the actual quote depending on where you live.l
