Sweet Spikey on German Ebay an M1842?

I was browsing around the German ebay site for some parts and came across this beauty that looks to be an M1842 perhaps. No expert yet but it resembles one to me.

Hi Ben:

"Resembles" is the operative word. I see many things not to like about the eBay listing. Comparisons with the genuine article reveal the discrepancies.
