Is the tag imperial?
The cap looks like it was made a couple of months ago.

No, the tag is not imperial. They are reproducing these, but other than artillery units, the "/" was not used on imperial Etiketts.

I don't know anything about caps, but wouldn't an M43 be WWII issue? Konig could be a name... if it's not a repro'd tag?? :-k If it is, then there you have it. To me, it looks like new manufacture.

Well the seller is obviously not showing/hiding the front where the wehrmacht eagle would be so this looks like a (repro?) M1943 Field Cap. Weird tag though; should be ink stamped straight on instead.
 
All Third Reich Overseas Caps, M43 Field Caps, or Mountain & Winter Caps I've seen have either their markings stamped directly onto the liner or no markings at all.
