I recognize the photo. Officers of the 145th Infantry Regiment. Photo taken on the steps of the Esplanade in Metz, on the eve of the war. I'm sure of it, because most of them have the Line Grenadier eagle awarded in 1913 (the only infantry regiment to display this eagle), but some Reserve officers still wear the Line Infantry eagle.
