The 1870 Iron Cross pole top from the pole of the 1 L H R 1

A collector friend has the 1870 Iron Cross pole top from the pole of the 1 L H R 1
It was said to have been given to the Crown Prince. The unit ring from the flagpole
is also there . As far as I know the 1 L H R 1 flag is still in Russia

-now the question:
What are the inscriptions on this. I will try to zoom in.
Thank you!

This is the only photo that I have of this item.
It goes way back to an auction / sale in the U K years ago
I think that it was acquired by a collector in Staten Island , N Y
later traded to the present owner
he is a collector of Prussian Garde Cavalry and includes 1 L H R 1 & 2 L H R 2
I have known him for over 50 years and he is older than I am
A few years ago there was a fire in his condo
The collection was said to be O K , but due to damage of the rest of the condo
he had to move to another location for repairs to be done
He suffered smoke inhalation
the collection is now in storage
so other photos are not possible
I might be able to find the old original sale catalog
but it those days they were B & W and 1 photo if you were lucky.
It has been in the USA for a number of years .

-Steve! interesting!! Thank you.

Thanks for showing this Steve, that is truly a wonderful piece of history. The price of £8700 back in 1975 would have bought you a pretty decent house as I remember.
