The wining Kompanie/Rgt. received a bust (called Kaiserpreis) for the dining room. When the regiment won the competition again,
they got a new bust, but with a different emperor's head.
Steve, again great lanyards - all kinds of the Saxon Wappenschild! And the first time I see a Württemberger-Wappenschild in real! Great!

I don't recall where I found that page. Could well have been from your page. Thanks for that and the new to me information concerning the use of a different bust for multi-year winners.
I wonder what the convention was for units like the 31st Thuringian Infantry which won the Infantry Kaiser Prize a total of eight times!
