While I was cleaning up a few things about Depot marks, I came back across some old questions. The repair facilities seem to have put out a stamp with a letter marking "F".
Capitalization seems to be part of the BJA specific mark. Consensus I thought generally accepted this as FELDBRAUCHBAR --Field wearable (or serviceable). Johann Summers in his reference lists a different translation. Any new thoughts?
Then there is the letter "G"
These seem to be found only in the green steel Ersatz varieties. Any idea what this means?
Then there is the letter "B" found at SOS 06.
Any ideas? -- nagging questions!
