I just had to share this quote from a posting on the great war forum. The subject was Zuber's books.

Just to show the state of British education my wife went into the university bookshop in Oxford and asked for 'The Schlieffen Plan' by Ritter, and e assistant promptly told her that diet books were on the fourth floor!

It's no better here in the good old USA, Joe! I bet if you lined up 1,000 people you picked at random, you'd be lucky if you found 1 that would know what the Schlieffen Plan was.
