THoughts on this Guard Du Corp

Browsing ebay as I am supposed to be working. What are your thoughts on this? I have been looking to pick one up this year at the SOS but never made it down there. Looks ok in the images but hard to say as I have not been able to study these in person but more than a few times.
As always your thoughts are appreciated.

Not necessarily, it was eliminated at one point (I can't remember when). My advice would be to ask for photos of the sides under the cockades for markings or lack thereof. According to Randy at AOK, a lot of 6th Kuerassier helmets were converted to GdC for the collector market. It would be nice to see that there are no 6K markings under the cockades. Also photos of the shell with the plate off and photos of the back of the plate.

This was after a quick look. I'm sure more members and I will look closer at this one.

It looks very nice to me. As mentioned, I would want to see markings under the wearer's right cockade...
 
This one definitely has promise.
Personally I would find the bent adler plate somewhat distracting but I think the price reflects that.

Good eye! Perhaps this means it's not an original GdC, or the eagle isn't original to the helmet... More photos will tell. These are a pretty heavy investment and to me, the photos show that the seller wants to be only so open with what's being shown. Chinstraps off, but no view of the mounts; eagle off, but plate on; etc. So, yeah, more photos.

I agree, it does 'look' nice, and once it's proven to be correct, then it will BE nice!

The eagle predates the helmet , but this is not necessarily a problem ,if a soldier is in need
of a new helmet ,he can still use his old eagle.
My GDC eagle and helmet belong together coz the carry the same stamp ,but to find this is
rather exceptional.
How do I know the agel predates the helmet ?
The eagle has the four rivets, later on , those disappeared.
The helmet has the M 91 side posts ,(but they could be added later) ,more important is the helmet shape , the tale drops straight down in to the neck , Urlier models had a slide of a lesser angel.

Whether everything is original, I can’t tell from these picks …
