Dear Belgian friends,
Do you have any tips about WW1 sites near the coast between Knokke and Oostende? For years I have been waiting to visit the Aachen coastal batterie at Oostende. It was subjected to a major reconstruction, which took nearly 3 years (I am sure that the Germans completed it sooner in WW1) and it will open in September. This is, unfortunately, after my hollidays. I am also interested in sites located between Brugge and Gent. The last years I have explored the Hollandstellung extensively but if there are sites I have missed, I would like to hear this as well.
