This is a lovely one, Michael, and so rare in this configuration. I noticed it immediately on your original picture. Did you notice the burrs at the edge of wing feathers and sword blade? There are exactly the same ones on the plate of mine. There are fewer present on the other wing. I suppose both plates are from the same batch, made on the same press. Although these are of course undoubtedly authentic, we must admit the deburring job was not top-notch!... war production.
 
Thank you very much, Bruno. I must admit I hadn’t noticed the burrs but I am glad that our plates are the same, and probably from the same batch!
