It's an absolute shame to see this many ruined and obliterated felt helmets but this could prove useful to a member in need of some felt material.

I could defiantly bid on this unfortunately the guy wont ship to the states.

Rats! I’d to bid as well, I’ve been looking for some filzhelms to restore for a while but I guess I’ll have to keep waiting…

Let us know if any of ya’ll win, (after finding someone to facilitate the sale of course) I doubt I’d be able to outbid anyone on this forum 😅
 
I've seen some magic happen with restorations on this forum but these parts have become absolutely worthless if you ask me.
 
That would be truly amazing to see something made from these. I would guess they would have to be totally softened up and broken down to just the fir and fibers then remolded and shaped into a Helmet.
 
If you check Mathew’s work, he has used pieces of original felt to fill in holes etc on filz helme restoration projects. He did not create new helmets. 😊

The only way to work these is to cut and transfer patches.
There is the possibility of this being just a pile of trash but I think it would be worth the challenge.
I am still needing someone to accept the shipping.
 
Does he only ship to france?, I know some french ebayers do not like to ship to other countries in europe.
