WOW what a beautiful looking Tropenhelm congratulations to the seller, if you're going to sell that's the way to do it.

This helmet came from an auction in Paris in 2006. All helmets hat a distinctive description written in French underlined in red by the old collector. Marvellous pieces. Most of them untouched in perfect shape! I’m still impressed by this very old collection. Apparently the buyer added later the white ribbon.

It is a rare helmet and I have been following it at auction and I could have been interested even if the white band was evidently not contemporary (too new), but even knowing its potential, I would never have expected it to reach the figure of 34,000 euros for auction fees.
