Tschapka --- good or bad?

It looks like the front visor stitching has let loose.
The chin scales appear to be domed but look a little thin.
There is something strange with the front of the liner --- extra leather? Replacement leather?
The Kokarde is wrong.
The Wappen may be a reproduction.
What do you think?

You are right about the visor, just loose.
Rosettes seem wrong. cockade is wrong.
I somehow think the wappan is correct, should be the screw posts one for this wappan.
Liner looks good until you see that extra piece which is not clearly shown.
Good price still.
 
I asked for the pic. Apparently seller doesn't know what is a wappan. Anyway he sent one pic and the wappan is secured using wedges.

I am still questioning many things on this Tschapka. When you got the photos of the Wappen you said it was secured by loops and wedges, incorrect for this helmet. Could you tell what the seller mean't by the Wappen being gold in color but most of it has worn off? Could you see if the Wappen was silver or gilt?

Hi John I have doubts over it as well. When I saw the pic of the loops secured by wedges, alarm bells rung. I think the seller may have meant painted in gold so I suspect its a M15 badge gold painted, that's why explained the loops at the back, no extra holes on the helmet according to seller. That uhlan not a good buy.

I am going to pass. I have deleted it from my watch list.
Just too many concerns.
