An interesting note in the description:

*Note: It is the opinion of the collecting community at the Wehrmacht Awards Forum that this is an older copy instead of a WW1 era original.

The price indicates that there are some people willing to bet it is real, a fair bet as the seller is willing to take it back.

This is a nice example how wrong a object can be judged at a forum and not forgetting the difference of opion of collectors . And Who is a real expert...

I believe that a buyer needs to pay attention to the discription, if the seller thiks it is a copy, then the buyer should assume that it is a copy. It does look good, and the alterations would not bother me too much, as most were altered after the war, but the BA stamp does not make me real comfortable. While the WAF forum has the reputation of "if it is mine it is real, and yours is fake" leads one to take a WAF pronouncement with a grain of salt, but there is the question of the seller taking it back if the buyer determines that it is indeed a copy, because it is discribed as such in the listing, so that would not be an acceptable reason to return. As far as the price goes, it was a bargin if it is real, but a very expensive purchase if it is a copy.

Hello

For me it's not a copy. It's a Reichswehr bluse : pockets are not the same and the arm's down...

The inscription BA... is not good, i think it's a reproduction.

It's just my opinion. Perhaps i am wrong but if i see this bluse, i don't buy it...
