While the citation was all messed up. It was not from the Militär-Wochenblatt, it was from Löbell's yearbooks. So, this is what happened:
On November 1st a Turkish cavalry division broke through Bulgarian infantry lines at Lüle Burgas - the Bulgarians were already on their way to win the battle and therefore probably a little careless - and was only stopped by the machine-gun fire of Bulgarian reserve formation.
Found in: v. Löbell's Jahresberichte über das Heer- und Kriegswesen, XXXIX year 1912, edited by Generalmojor z.D. v. Voß - published at E.S. Mittler und Sohn, Berlin 1913, pg. 253
Löbell's yearbook are usually a very reliable and first class source.
