I recognize that second scene its Nuremburg and I believe the officer upfront is Sepp Dietrich.
From a purely uniform perspective they had to have made a most impressive sites on parade it must have had something to do with those Hugo Boss designed uniforms.
I would have loved to have that Imperial Uhlan Regimental flag.

Flags are a very limited field .
We each have our own ideas of what to collect.
I think that a lot has to do with the regiment
If we get a chance at a flag from a regiment that we really like
then that is the one to go for.
I have owned (or still do some of them) 13 flags over the years.
My first flag was a Prussian white line Infantry .
Later I had yellow ; red and 2 green , both Jager
all but 1 removed from the poles
A hand painted Landwehr flag
the flags that were removed from the poles where traded
or sold to use the funds to pay for complete flags on the poles
with pole tops and streamers .
2 Grenadier flags
G R zu Fuss
Eisenbahn
Cavalry flags were
2 L H R 2 on the pole with rings and pole tops
J z P R 3
and the 1 cavalry flag that I still have
is K R 7
Which I really like as is what I call the "old muster "
a square flag and the only square flag in black
which makes it a one of a kind
Another factor could be the color and style of the flag
the U R 8 is a swallow tail in an attractive blue color
but did have some damage
It was Weitze's flag and could have been bought
without the 25 % commission
