Uhlan chapska with FWR Wappen??

Do you have any knowledge or reference material regarding the identification of these Uhlan chapska and others (relationship between colors and Wappen) ??
You see, the red chapska is announced on the web as Rgt.3 but at Fort de la Pompelle, the yellow one is also presented as being Rgt.3. We know well that since the rearrangement of the collections of this museum, there are a lot of absurdities on the presentation labels, so we no longer know which Saint to devote ourselves to??

I agree with Sandy and JPT. Basically, eagle with oval and FWR for the 1-3 Prussian regiments: JB, FAR, and UR.
And yes, the Pompelle is no longer a reference. That's the problem with museums, which are run by ‘civil servants’ who have studied antiquities, prehistory, the Egypt of the Pharaohs or the paintings of Rubens.
Whereas the small WW1 museums organised by privat collectors are run by enthusiasts with ‘surgical’ knowledge.

I agree: the fantastic Friesé Collection has been messed up...

You could look on Kaiser's Bunker for quick answers. My essay on Imperial German Uniforms lists all Regiments and Battalions, name, garrison, uniform, cuffs, collar, helmet. It's a reference site to help people to learn. All typed with two fingers.

Screen shot below. There you see UR Nr.1, UR Nr.2, and UR Nr.3 with 1st pattern Grenadier eagles.

To illustrate the "Silver" 2nd pattern Grenadier Eagle of Tony's painting
Here's an eagle from UR7, known as a grenadier with gliding wings (after 1897). In fact, the design is different from the grenadier-fantassin eagle. It's in tombac, the wings don't have the same curve, the sword doesn't have an S-shaped cross and the scepter ends in an eaglet rather than an acanthus bud.

A red „Paraderabatte“ and a a golden eagle with FWR was worn only by UR No. 2. UR No. 1 wore a white color and UR No. 3 a yellow color. All other Prussian regiments wore the Prussian line eagle or guard eagle.

Great post Sandy !
When it comes to the officers Uhlan helmets
I have seen U R 3 with the "Russian Muster "
the yellow rabatt is permeant to the helmet
where the helmet body below the rabatt is
a wide gold tressa
That is a beautiful helmet

Thank you for information .
As my post became a post on the Rgt.7 chapska, looking at the table, I don't see any regiment wearing a wappen with a silver grenadier eagle 1st pattern ???Unt. Off. U.Rgt.7.jpg

As far as I know , this eagle, designed by Linien-Grenadier after 1897 but in nickel silver, is the exclusive appanage of the DR3 “Grenadier à cheval”.This eagle is much rarer than the more wavy-winged Ulan.

Only the eagle of the officers and private purchase extra helmet of the 2 G.U.R. resembled the Garde-Adler of the officer's spiked helmets, but the wingtip remiges were deployed on the Chapska, and gathered on the spiked helmets. GUR2.jpgGéneral Prusse 6600€.jpg
And for the spiked helmet, the crowned eagle head is larger than on the G.U.R. 0fficier-Adler. General prussien.jpg
Even for G.U.R. officers and GGR or GzFR officers, the eagles are different.
