I don't collect Imperial German exclusively but several years ago...it may be 10 by now actually, I bought a complete 20th Ulan NCO Uniform, circa 1894 at an estate auction outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

It even had a couple of 1890's American German Turnbund medals sewn on it - one from Saint Louis and one from Milwaukee. So it's obviously an immigrant piece and worn while the owner was at German functions here in the States.

Condition is very worn but good to very good depending on the item. However, the yellow is generally faded. The cap band, for example, is now an ivory color.

It consists of

1. tunic, very worn, fencing chevron, one missing button, Litzen threads partially broken,
2. tunic rabatte, 4 (one pristine w name "Spitzer", three worn of which one is unit marked & dated 1894)
3. pants w "W" cypher on pocket
4. woolen socks, knee high (shown folded over)
5. boots w integrated spurs, leather split at ankles
6. cloth belts, blue & yellow, 2 (one unit marked)
7. sword belt w hook and two white leather straps with clips (one strap broken)
8. leather belt (poor condition in three pieces)
9. leather sword straps
10. a narrow leather strap
11. visor cap, Ludwigsburg tailor marked
12. Kartuschkasten cypher "W" with white bandolier
13. Sword, early pattern, unit mark on scabbard and guard, some plating loss on blade

I'll try to post some photos but it may take a day or two. I'm not real savvy with the system on here.
