Quote from the description:

"TUNIC IS NOT NAMED AND TO MY KNOWLEDGE IS THE ONLY OFFICER TUNIC TO THIS FAMOUS REGIMENT IN EXISTENCE. MIGHT AS WELL BE THE RED BARON'S, NOTHING OUT THERE EXISTS TO CONTEST." :-"

I have an unnamed helmet from WWI that would fit Patton's head. Bet it was his! (after all, I've just as much documentation!) That's some twist of logic on his part, "It is because nobody has proven it isn't...." Now that's what I call the theory of "If it sounds good, it must be true." I love 'truthiness'.

I am afraid that there is a moron out there who is willing to buy this :(

109 watchers so far. One of them is bound to bid on it.
I doubt any of the watchers are interested in buying it, they just want to see what happens.

I know nothing about uniforms ( and many other things!), so,forgetting all the nonsense about the Red Baron, what would this be worth, without any provenance?

Without the v. Richthofen story? $85,000.00. :wink:

We'll have to wait for some uniform experts. I don't collect them either unless I find them at a thrift store.

How to know if the medals are with it
are they original medals ? or copies ?

I don't do feldgrau uniforms
They are lots of collectors for them

A feldgrau Uhlan officer with cyphers on the shoulder straps
$ 3,500 to $ 4,000 ? A guess
the hat worth a little more to go with it

sometimes you have to add up all the parts for a sum ?
So I will start to suggest a figure so that I can be corrected
Steve
