I have never seen a spike like this one before.

Certainly not original to the helmet and somebody took a little time to try to make a nice replacement. Other than the missing liner and replacement, not a bad M15 otherwise. So far the price is certainly right ($81 when I looked).

Yes someone with some "metal skills" spent a lot of time making that spike top. However, as usual (thank goodness) they can never duplicate the originals. Modern paint too, which does not match up with the wappen and base. Great War Militaria used to sell pints of feldgrau paint ....their creation. :thumbsdown:

The biggest rip off artists this side of the Pecos .

In so many ways.

It amazes me that someone spents a lot of time to try to create an obvious fake #-o
