I have a very curious American leather spiked helmet. It has a silver helmet plate with an owl on the top center. On either side are draped American flags, similar in structure to a Swedish spiked helmet. In the middle of the helmet plate is a badge shaped plate with "32" in the middle of it and on the bottom half are the initials "NCSNY". The tip of the spike has a small ball on it. The chinstrap is thicker than an average helmet, and the side "button" has an eagle sitting on a shield with an American flag on it. Any idea of what the origin might be and its rare? Thanks - Keith
