Unknown mutze

I bought this one last week at a fair.
Condition is pretty good, but there's a kokarde missing.
I have looked for information but I can't find anything similar.
It was pretty cheap so i'm afraid this might be fake...
The white piping doesn't match with anything I can find.
Anybody who could help me out with this one?

It looks the same.

Your cap is most than probably a schirmmütze with the visor removed.

Any informations about the origin of the cap?

The guy who sold it to didn't know anything about it.
The website where I got the picture from gives this information:
Saxon Karabineer regiment Heavy cavalry regimental musician NCO cap.
If the visor is missing that would be a problem,
almost impossible to fix...
