Hello,

i found this photograph of a young Medical Soldier. Anyone know the type of Pickelhaube? I search long time but i dont find anything.

What a fantastic picture! Very clear. In the American slang these have become known as scroll helmets. We have had some discussion on these under this thread.

Picture has a very very clear type I with the added decoration on the sides.

Welcome to the forum! I wonder what he thought when he received the photos and saw his chin strap on the helmet wasn't on straight.
