Vaulted iron cross

Yes, words of wisdom, do not buy militaria with problems. Be patient and always buy the best quality you can afford. Good quality items are easier to resell and we must never forget that all of our collections have to be passed on to others eventually.

Looks nice, was apparently repaired, what do you think?

I think it's garbage. Everything is wrong. As I've suggested before if you are going to buy on eBay why not just take your money into a ditch beside the road and burn it and be done with it?

The very first thing you should do is use your money wisely and buy the book The Iron Time: A History of the Iron Cross by Stephen Thomas Previtera.

Then study EK until you are near-blind. I would strongly suggest the WAF forum as it has a strong EK following.

Last, only buy from reputable dealers who have a guarantee on originally. You are going to get burned if you continue to shop on eBay for something you are not highly experienced with.

I fully agree with Tony. I don't buy militaria from ebay anymore because its way too tricky.

Regards,

Edwin
