This is the tallest "perkiest" Infanterie Officer Schirmmütze I have. You won't find a taller example.
Has a feature I am very fond of, being the lesser grade grey wool under the band. A few little moth nibbles to the grey wool. Perfect huge front visor with nice age. Only two areas of tracking on one side under the overhang (see photo), two small pinholes to the front and one tiny pin hole to the top. Dark rich fresh colours, no fading, nice dark Dunkelblau top. Preußen and Reich's officer's Kokarden have some wear to the silver wash. Inside is quite nice with a black water-silk lining and waffled sided. Black Alkor sweat band has some age crackling but is all intact. An excellent example.
