Visited the aviation heritage museum in Omaka here in NZ and was pleasantly suprised. I believe most if not all the WW1 items belong to Sir Peter Jackson. Anyway I thought you guys might be interested in viewing some pics. My apologies but as you know taking photos in poor lighting with no flash and behind glass is a pain in the rear end .

The following belonged to Friedrich Christiansen a Navy Seaplane pilot (Only seaplane aviator to win the PLM). Had an interesting career, was also commander of German forces in the Netherlands during WW2 and was convicted of war crimes.

Ah, THAT Christiansen! "General der Flieger", the man who gave order to murder all the male inhabitants of the Dutch village of Putten. Indeed not a very popular person in the Netherlands, but his outfit sure looks good :D

In case you cant read the fine print, the Honour Cup was presented by the Kaiser. The desk set was presented by Oswald Boelcke. The frame on the left houses a letter home to his mother.

Uniform of Lt Alfred Gerstenberg. He was a pilot in Richthofen's squadron for a short period until a wound took him out of the seat. He was a Luftwaffe General in WW2.

Yes the same indeed. Years ago I received an email from a gentleman who said that he worked for Sir Peter Jackson (who was a fan of Kaisers Bunker), and would I sell my entire Royal flying Corps collection; name my price. I politely declined, but thought that was very cool.

I have more pics to show, unfortunately not a lot of time at the moment due to work. I think it's great that he hasn't hidden these gems away and has allowed all to see. I have photos of his aircraft as well including some 1:1 scale dioramas.
